It has been proven over and over again at the top levels of the sport with the strength and durability to handle big hits and extreme race conditions. The look has evolved this year, from the familiar Mavic yellow to a stealthy style, while the performance and durability have gone up a few notches. The alloy rim features a 28mm internal width. Clever engineering makes the weight of the rim ideal for absorbing impacts without compromising the tubeless seal. The 28 J-Bend steel spokes are double-butted and bladed for the perfect amount of vertical compliance and strength to handle the abuses of aggressive trail riding. The ID360 ratchet offers a positive, crisp engagement and helps you accelerate out of corners faster. Deemax is compatible with multiple axle standards and comes with a 20mm front thru-axle and 15mm adaptors. The rear hub has four options: 142/148/157 and a special 157mm with a shortened 7-speed freehub for perfectly balanced spoking (purchased separately). The 157mm spacing can be easily converted to 150mm with optional adaptors. The Deemax is available in 27.5 and 29″ and ships with UST tubeless valves and accessories.
