KNIPEX cable cutters are designed specifically for cutting copper and aluminum cables providing a clean and smooth cut without crushing or deformation. They feature precision ground hardened blades and a favorable lever ratio with optimized cutting edge geometry making it easier to cut cables up to 25/32″ in diameter with one hand. The cutting action is divided into an initial cut for the insulating sheath and a final cut for the conductor ensuring efficiency and precision. Additionally the cutters include a pinch guard to protect fingers an adjustable bolted joint and are made from high-grade special tool steel that is forged and oil-hardened for durability.
