The KMC S1 is a single-speed chain designed for BMX, fixie, and internally geared bikes that use a 1/8″ drivetrain. It’s a durable, everyday chain commonly chosen for simplicity and reliability rather than weight savings.
This model replaced the older KMC Z410 and fills the same role as a straightforward, serviceable single-speed chain.
