DT Swiss has engineered the ultimate aerodynamic combination of wheel and tire interface in collaboration with Continental, with a joint tire: the Aero 111 Wheel and tire combinations pre-chosen and designed to be as aerodynamically efficient as possible.
Tire Features:
– Aero wheels have Aero 111 26mm front tire and GP 5000 STR 28mm rear tire (Front & rear sold separately)
– Aero 111 tires feature 48 `vortex generators` which greatly reduce drag across the entire wheel system, freeing up additional wattage
– Continental`s Black Chili compound and Vectran Puncture-resistant technology
Wheel Features:
– Latest generation of ARC wheels sees increase in width to 22mm internal for modern, wider tire support
– 55mm tall profile is the shortest of 3rd gen ARC wheel, offering an aerodynamically optimized, yet agile and responsive wheel
– New redesigned rim shape offers lower drag and smoother airflow between tire and rim interface
– The ARC1400 features a new 240 Dicut Aero hub as well as DT`s classic Aero Comp spokes
